This readme explains how to run the update program for Server 
Administrator version 1.2 or 1.2.1 with Instrumentation Service 4.7.2 
installed on the PowerEdge systems listed below.  This update corrects 
several known issues reported on Instrumentation Service version 4.7.1.

This update supports the following:

Systems:       	Red Hat Linux 7.2, 7.3, and Advanced Server 2.1

DESCRIPTION OF PROBLEMS CORRECTED IN THIS UPDATE

This update corrects the following problems in Server Administrator 
with Instrumentation Service version 4.7.1.

INCORRECT WARNING THRESHOLDS REPORTED
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Incorrect Instrumentation Sensor threshold values are used when the 
system installs Instrumentation Service version 4.7.1 The problem 
causes generation of erroneous warning events.

This update corrects this problem for PowerEdge 1600SC

ERRONEOUS REPORTING OF INSTRUMENTATION EVENTS DURING ERA RESETTING
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

During ERA resetting, Instrumentation Service reports events incorrectly.

This update corrects this problem for PowerEdge 1600SC with the Remote 
Access feature installed.

INSTALLATION OF THE UPDATE PACKAGE ON MANAGED SYSTEMS RUNNING
RED HAT LINUX OPERATING SYSTEMS
======================================================================

NOTE: This update installs by using a shell script, "sais471e.sh". 
If Server Administrator Instrumentation Service is running on your
system when you run the update shell script, the script stops Server
Administrator Instrumentation Service. After the script completes the
update it reboots the system.

INSTALLING THE UPDATE
----------------------------------------

1. Log in as root.

2. Change to the directory that contains the update.
 
   The directory should be the same directory that contains the 
   sais471e.sh file.

3. To run the update, type:

   ./sais471e.sh	
   
   The update installation script displays a message stating whether 
   the update installed successfully.

4. Reboot the system.
