DELL POWERCONNECT 5324 v2.0.0.39 FIRMWARE README

NOTE: This ReadMe provides information for PowerConnect 5324 v2.0.0.39 firmware
and v1.0.2.02 boot code.

NOTE: When software version 2.0.0.39 is downloaded to the PowerConnect 5324,
please make sure you also download the new boot code version 1.0.2.2. Failure to
download the new boot code results in the system rebooting continuously. This will
require an XMODEM download of the previous version of software (5324-10047.ros)
using XMODEM and the Startup Menu to recover.

scheduled update cycle. The update contains feature enhancements or 
changes that will help keep your system software current and compatible 
with other system modules (firmware, BIOS, drivers and software).

* This is the firmware release v2.0.0.39 and boot code v1.0.2.02 for the Dell PowerConnect 5324 Ethernet switch.

* This firmware is transferable to the switch via a TFTP server. 

* Please read the documents in the zip file for further information.

NOTE: Perform the upgrade procedure from the console interface via an 
RS232 serial port. When using a telnet session or web interface alone, 
your connection to the switch is not available until the switch has 
entered forwarding mode. This takes approximately three minutes.
